Lynx 24" cutter - help!

I just received a Lynx 24" vinyl cutter and a boat load of vinyl from a friend - FREE - and I am dying to use it - new toy syndrome!!

I have downloaded a manual from Sign Warehouse, but that's the basic plug it in, here's the on button - I have no idea about software, etc. I am assuming SCAL is exclusive to Cricut.

There are several Black Cat users on http://papyrusjungle.com/forum/index.php You might post your questions there. I think SCAL only works with Cricut machines.

Wow, Laurie. Congratulations on you windfall. The cougar can't use scal, but as I understand it, it does use Inkscape and there is a lot of good Inkscape info in this forum.
