My very first SVG creation AND my very first post.

Hi,
I got a Cricut Expression for Christmas, and my sister got me hooked on SCAL, and I just found Inkscape last week. It's like a whole new world out there! I got laid off last month, so I obviously got more time on my hands.

I created my first "Flourish" in Inkscape and wanted to post it on my blog -- http://www.theladywolf.blogspot.com but I do not know how to attach SVG file to it... do i need to find a file sharing program? I would love to create more SVG files to share and learn more and more about Inkscape and how SCAL works.

HI, Welcome and congratulations on your FIRSTS

The two most popular hosts for .svg files for downloading from Blogspot are
4shared and mediafire.

I use 4shared and am very happy with it. You open a free account, upload your .svg file (I also upload a jpg image but that's optional). Once it is uploaded you get a link code to add to your blog.

In blogspot, click on the link you want the link to appear on, click on the LINK icon, give the LINK a name and then paste the link code in the appropriate place.

That's pretty much it.

I have a link on my Blog to 4shared and I get credit it you join from that link.
