help (my files look like they are shaken)

Hello,
I have scal2 and love it. But I have been working on my files that have funny sayings on them to print on signs. Some files are fine, but others are all on top of each other. It looks like someone took my laptop and shook it upside down. Is there anything I can do? Sarah

Are you using Inkscape .47 by any chance. If so, see if doing a path>union or path>combine on the text (and shapes if you have them) will help.

thanks, but I am only usuing scal2 I typed my saying on the mat and they cut fine. I save them then a few months later when I open them to use them again, they are all jumbled.
