welding letters on cupcake wrapper

Post by anniekay67 »

I am trying to do a cupcake wrapper with the letters USHS and then 2010 on them. My son is graduating in May and we are having cake and I thought some cupcakes on the side would be nice. We ran out of cake in the first hour of our daughter's grad party two years ago and we had a double full sheet cake. I want to make the cupcakes and frost with white and spray orange sprinkles on them. I thought it would be neat to do cupcake wrappers. I have the wrapper with the grad hats, thought the a couple different ones would be neat to have. So if any one could help me. I can't seem to weld the lettering or numbers together for some reason. I have inkscape .47 and scut2

Nope, it's all one file/layer. I used a stencil font so that the centers of the zeros are attached and you can just cut the wrapper and the letters will reveal the cupcake inside.

I made two tutorials for creating cupcake wrappers with artwork. The basic pattern with the curved lines is at the end of this topic http://forums.surecutsalot.com/viewtopi ... =17&t=5233 and the other tutorial is here. http://forums.surecutsalot.com/viewtopi ... =17&t=5232

I know that I made a graduation wrapper and I think that Talanhart did one too.
