Zoom View

Post by TracyDAZ »

I desperately need to be able to zoom in to work on my designs. I've been working on some intricate things and I can't get as precise as I need. Multiple zoom size choices would be great!

I agree. Now that I've been using SCAL more, I can see where it would be helpful to know exactly where the cut lines are and what is skipped, as well as where to place paper on the real mat.

I am still trying out the demo before I buy, and this was one of the first things I noticed that annoyed me. I think it is very important to have this feature for what I would do with it.

For simple letters, welding and shadows, and simple designs, the view size isn't really much of a problem for me. It's more for intricate work where I would find it particularly helpful.

Ability to Zoom would be nice, but is definitely NOT a deal breaker. If you have problems with editing and creating designs in SCAL then you can always use another editing/designing program (I use Inkscape) and create an SVG file to bring into SCAL for cutting.
