cutting a circle out of the middle of a heart

I welded two hearts together then wanted to have a circle cut out of the middle of one. I picked the circle, placed it where I wanted it, but it only cut the hearts. How do I fix this?

Make sure that the circle does not have Weld selected and it should cut.
