Need help converting to svg!

Post by moleigh »

Was hoping someone could help me convert this! I have posted on several boards and have had help from someone but am told she is stumped. The problem is the layers seem to have the same pieces on each layer so no matter how you put it you can't get to layer just right. I'm trying to cut with vinyl and put on a glass block for my beautician. When I do it I get her glasses on all layers and for example on my red layer I also get her hair so I wouldn't' be able to put it on top. At this point it will be an after xmas gift if anyone wants a challenge. I tried to post over the weekend but the board was not working. Thanks for looking. Merry Christmas!!!

are you looking for just a black and red layer?

or do you want the gray too?

here is my attempt. I have created layers for the red and the black.

I did not group the items (such as fingernails)

DogCarbon your file rocks..thank you sooo much!!!!

Can someone help me figure out how to get the gray layer added to the file that was made for me? I was thinking I could do a reverse cut... my abilities stop at tracing and ungrouping haven't learned how to edit yet... just found out that she is open until 2 tomorrow so can still make it for xmas :)
