program not responding

Post by psivage »

I am still trying to play with the trail version but it keeps freezing up/not responding.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Does your computer system meet the requirements for SCAL? Requirements listed here: http://www.craftedge.com/products/products.html

If it does and you are still having problems, contact Todd, the software designer. http://www.craftedge.com/contact/contact.html

Thanks for your help. It does meet the requirements, it is running on Vista. I will try it again.

Are you running Vista 32-bit OS or 64-bit? I don't know that this specifically makes a difference with SCAL but I do know it made a difference with DSS.

To find out what you have, go to start, control panel, system. Todd might need this information from you when you contact him.

I bought SCAL and loaded it to my new laptop which runs Vista. I also had the same problem with the program freezing and "not responding". I searched and found a Program Compatibility Wizard within Vista. I was able to walk through the wizard and select SCAL and tell the computer to run it as if it were Windows XP. That did the trick for me, no more freezing and I am on the 32 bit OS. Hope that helps.
