Hi Toni - I have a few ideas for you to try. When I first started using my Cricut there was a piece of fuzz in with the blade and I had the same problem. I took the blade out of the housing and took out the fuzz and it was fine.I love this gingerbread house and am making it. Only one problem when I cut the red and green circle shapes my paper tears up. Any suggestions. Thanks toni
Is your blade new? If not you may need to change that.
Also just read on another message board that someone had the tip of the blade that chipped off so they had to replace it.
Not sure if you are new to this whole Cricut experience but my biggest challenge when I first started was getting the settings to work with the weight of the paper you are cutting. Once I got those figured out the cuts turned out better. Hope that helps a bit!
