Convert a Cupcake Box with Window to an SVG File?

Hi Everyone! I have a cute .CUT file for a cupcake box that holds a standard cupcake with an insert that prevents the cupcake from moving inside...the problem is, I can't open it or convert it to an SVG...can anyone help?

Is .cut what Cricut's Design Studio uses? If so, I think I'd try opening the file in DS, zoom in so it just fits on the screen, take a screen shot, and then use Inkscape or some other program to trace the image.

What is happening so that you can't open the file in DSS?

Hi Althea:

I don't have a program on my pc that will allow me to open up .CUT files--only SCAL files. I don't have Design Studio on my pc. Hope that makes sense. I suppose I could ask the gal who designed it in CDS if she'd consider making an SVG file of it...
