Help with Copy and Paste in SCAL 1

I have had SCAL for a while but never used it for anything major until tonight, so I am a pretty big newbie here.
I only have version 1 because I use a mac.

Is it possible for me to take an image I welded together and copy and paste it so I can cut it more then once? ie. I welded words around an image and I want to cut it more then once, but I can only copy one part at a time. Do I have to keep putting it back together or am i missing something?

Do I need SCAL 2 for this?
