ive lost my cricut design studio disk. i only want my pc to know my cricut is plugged in to my usb. would downloading the demo work?

i think so. I remember some members saying that they downloaded the DS trial version so scal will work

You can also email provocraft and explain what happened. they would send you the activation code.

You don't need DS unless you need to update your firmware and the trial version is all you need for that. If your computer isn't seeing the Cricut, you probably need to install the USB driver. HTH
