HELP me please!! I sooo want this program, but I have a mac. (I was told NOT to run bootcamp etc because it opens up to viruses etc. but, that's why I paid double for a Mac in the first place!)
So I bought a cricut E, downloaded the trial version of SCAL 1.0 (So Cool and it's only the first one) and inkscape to see if they would really talk and they do!!
The problem comes after I make the first cut. If I move my cursor to recut or do something else, it will stay on my desktop behind the SCAL window and start moving stuff around. I have little control (none actually) and have to turn off the computer. It's happened several times. Now I'm afraid I've messed my computer up with this stuff.
My husband is gonna freak out.
What do I do??

Re: possessed cursor
So it turned out that you have to unplug the USB between cuts with a Mac.
My computer was crashing....

Re: possessed cursor
I have a Mac but run a program called VMware Fusion. It runs windows in conjunction with the Mac OS so there's no shutting down. I run SCAL on that and cut with it without all the problems Mac users have had (all while not getting viruses--which would not happen with running bootcamp by-the-way).
I love SCAL, but have found lately that everyone is wanting to upgrade their files to SCAL2 so there's something to think about...
If you need more info about the VMware Fusion let me know
