Turkey disguised as a Princess

My daughter was sent home from kindergarten with a family craft project to disguise a turkey so it wouldn't be eaten. The wife and I immediately tried to think of how to use the Cricut!

The dress and shoes were designed in Inkscape and cut with SCAL. The arms are the pumpkin man's from the "Stretch Your Imagination" cartridge.

We had the same project, I didn't take a picture but I downloaded a svg of a paper doll in the fairy design, I changed the size of the shapes and we glued them on, it was so cute she named her "Fairy Mary".

How funny! I am a first grade teacher and we did the same project, except our turkey was "naked" without any feathers. They came back as Ronald McDonald, Michael Jackson, Santa, cheerleader, army man, snowman, tooth fairy, football player, ballerina, and lots more. It was incredible to see how many great ideas there were. What a terrific idea to use your Cricut! O love your turkey and I am sure she won't get recognized now!!
