Hi
I am trying to make a hollow circle. Is this possible in Inkscape or
SCAL? I know I should be able to figure it out but I am becoming
a little frustrated which only makes it harder for me to keep trying.
A included an example in my layout. The large white circle.
Thanks Renee

I would make 2 circles, on inside the other and not weld them. that way it cuts both circles and you will end up with that white section shown on the page, and a large white circle. If you have a use for a large white circle great, but otherwise keep putting circles inside and you will have numerous sizes of your white section shown on the page.

Re: Circle help please
You can use the SHAPE circle.
Re: Circle help please
by hollow circle do you mean a frame?
On the product page there is a tutorial on how to make a frame in Inkscape- just use a circle instead of a square.
In SCAL use the circle from the Shapes library. Draw your circle then in the proprty box insert the width and height of the circle ;copy and paste the circle then insert the measurements for this circle ( make it slightly bigger or smaller).
Use the arrows to move the circles one inside the other and send to cut.

Re: Circle help please
what if you used the letter "O" and just stretched it to be as big as you need it?
