lindamac, did you download the renesis player or the thumbnail plugin?

Inkscape comes with a viewer. Go to c:\program files\inkscape and double-click on inkview.exe and that will install it. Then when you go to My Computer and the folder where your svg files are saved - change to thumbnail view and you will see the svgs.
