I'm really hoping someone can help me! I have created a document in inkscape and saved it as an svg. All it is is A bunch of shapes. Circles and part circles made with the ellipse tool, squares made with the rectangle tool, and triangles made with the pen tool. All of the shapes have been converted to paths. The problem is when I import the document into SCAL, only the shapes made with the ellipse tool show up. The rest are missing. So what am I missing? Its very weird! I would really appreciate any advice! I'm going to try to attach the svg to this message.

Re: Problem When Importing SVG
I opened your file, selected them all & did path: object to path.
imported the file into SCAL & it all seems to be there.

Jancy,
Thanks so much. I did the exact same thing (several times actually) and it still doesn't work, but your file works fine. I had to upgrade to a new build of Inkscape though (because I updated my Mac to Snow Leopard), so I wonder if there is a problem with the convert to path command. What a pain!

Re: Problem When Importing SVG
Inkscape 47pre4 is out now. Maybe that fixed some of the Mac problems? Now they aren't listing a final release date for 47.
Also, the two triangles in the upper right corner of your file have double lines.

Heather,
Thanks for your reply. 47pre4 is actually what I was using (I think its the only version that will work at all with Snow Leopard). Anyways, I recreated the file on my laptop (older version of Inkscape) and all is fine importing to SCAL. So it must be an Inkscape issue.

Re: Problem When Importing SVG
Yes, it's definitely an Ink issue. Your file looked fine in Inkscape but wouldn't work right in SCAL, and all I had to do was copy it into a new Ink46 file and it worked fine.
