Taking a Screen Shot

Post by Magsw »

Can anyone help me....I have a template of a christmas cracker that's in a PDF file with score lines, I would like to take the score lines out enabling me to cut it. I don't know how to take a screen shot so all I can do is attach the template for you to see (hope it turns out ok)...I would be grateful if anyone can show me as I have several christmas template with score line I would like to turn into SVG files

The attached file is a jpg, but if you have the pdf it might already be in vector form, you would just need to open it in Inkscape and clean it up for cutting then save as an svg. If you found the templates online, could you post a link to the site?

Wow that's really great...thank you so much....the template is in PDF format on a disc that I purchased for my craftrobo (as it were I wasn't aware it was in PDF). I'm a newbie with inscape and would love easy step by step instructions on how you did this. I would be more than willing to share the pattern with anyone that wishes but I dont know how to share it other than email so contact me.
