Is there an easier way to rotate?

Post by Lynndee »

now it just says rotate or skew in the properties box where you used to be able to input the numbers. is there any way to do a rotate without going to object and then transform and then to rotate? i use this function quite a bit.

thanks.

Hi Lynndee:

If you want to rotate by a specific number of degrees go to the top of the page and click on OBJECT / Transform / Rotate. That will open up a menu which will allow you to insert the number of degrees you'd like to rotate the object.

Thank you. I appreciate the info. It's a lot more steps now than the previous version. :(

I second that. A 90 degree button with CW/CCW options would be great. ;)

Ditto on the 90 degree button. I was rotating artwork last Saturday quite a bit to get names to fit and this would have come in handy!
