I am not having much luck cutting things out with my Cricut Expression. It partially cuts through the cardstock and frays it. Totally aggravating. I have played with the blade, pressure and speed settings to no avail. :(

I am using either Papertrey Ink 110lb cardstock or Bazzill cardstock.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

My cricut is only 3 weeks old so it shouldn't be the blade.

Try a new blade. Both of my Cricuts came with bad blades. You might need to cut it more than once to cut all of the way through. HTH

According to the cricut cutting guide produced by AboveRubiesStudio.com the correct setting for Bazzil Card Stock is Blade depth 5, Speed 5 and Pressure 4. The other paper was not listed. Hope that helps.
