so... what are the differences? Is it worth the extra $30?

I would recomend downloading the trial, and playing with it to see for yourself... and IMHO I would say YES! it is soooo worth it.

I will tell you right now......YES! The new Upgrade is defiantly worth EVERY PENNY of your $30 bucks!

In all honesty....the SCAL upgrade is less than you would pay for a new Cartridge so why is everyone having such a problem
with it? I can understand if you just purchased SCAL a week ago or so, but the upgrade is huge and so worth the money.

I totally agree. I am in the middle of changing computers. I got the upgrade to 2 on my new computer. While I am still working on my old computer I have opened v1 to do something. Not near as good. So YES YES YES get it.
