INKSCAPE Download HELP

I m very very new at this
I have tried to figure it out
I M so lost..
Do I still need inkscape with the SCAL 2
I can not figure out where to download the Inkscape software
I dont see a link to download it??:O(
I have been to there site
I have looked and looked..:O(
I have Vista
I used my SCAL 2 the first night to cut out some boxes I almost cried How easy that was I M so mad I have waited this long to get it..

If you have a basic image that you can scan and use, then you don't need Inkscape. If you want/need to edit it then you will need Inkscape. I love SCAL2, but I still prefer to do all of my work in Inkscape. The controls are just much better (alignment, selection) and there are just some things that you still can only do with svg files (welding frames or rings).

You download Inkscape from http://www.inkscape.org. There is a green arrow near the upper right corner. Click on that and it will automatically give you the right version for your OS. If you have a Mac, you might need to go with the pre-release of 0.47. A new one is just out this week.
