Re: hockey player
Mardenz has a goalie silhouette here. http://mardenz.blogspot.com/2009/05/hockey-player.html
There is one player here in this font. http://www.fontspace.com/digital-magic/sports-1
If you do an image search online, you will find a lot of silhouettes that would be pretty easy to trace. http://www.fontspace.com/digital-magic/sports-1

Thank you Heater! I don't know if you can still help me.
I really don't know who using the one found in http://www.fontspace.com/digital-magic/sports-1, this is not .svg files? Do I have to use it with Inkscape? When you say trace an image from the web do you mean with a software?
Thanks for your help

If you have SCAL2 and a good clean image, you can trace images directly in SCAL2. I have a tutorial coving the basic trace settings in SCAL2 here and more detail on the brightness settings here. You can also use your photo editing software to clean up an image (like removing a watermark from a silhouette) so you can trace in SCAL2.
You can also use Inkscape (free at Inkscape.org) to trace images (create vectors or "Paths") and save as svg files. Using Inkscape allows you to edit the vector and gives the greatest amount of flexibility.
Sports1 is a font, and for fonts suitable to use as-is, you can either install or open the font and use it directly in either SCAL. If you want to edit it or use it as a paper piecing, you will need to use Inkscape (or one of the other vector editing programs that aren't free). I have a tut on using Inkscape to create paper piecing files from dingbats here.

No, I don't have SCAL 2, but I will try with Inkscape. Thanks for your tut, I'll try this.
