I just wanted to say HELLO From South Carolina
I just got the software and so FAR I M so mad I waited so LONG..
When I learn what I m doing I hope i can contribute also..
Crafty Dan 99 sure has got a GREAT VIDEO..He talked me right into it..LOLOLL
THANKS DAN99..
I am going to try to learn some more tomorrow..
Any How HELLO and Thanks for all the cuts..

Welcome! Hope you enjoy the software as well as many of us do! In spite of the occasional glitches...I've learned a lot from dan99, too, and there are several others with helpful tutorials on their blogs like HeatherM.

i am a newbie too....if anyone can answer this i would appreciate it...what is the difference between a svg and a scut file

Hope this helps with your question...

SVG is a vector file made in another program like Inkscape or Illustrator...etc
SVG you IMPORT into SCAL

SCUT is a product of SCAL. Just like a DOC is a product of Word...When you save your project it saves it as a SCUT file.
SCUT files OPEN in SCAL
