New Update for SCAL!!!

I DLed the update and I still see the empty slots in the font table. I hate those and I was excited to see those disappear. They have disappeared in some, but most still have it.
The other improvements I can't speak about, since I still haven't had a lot of time to play with it!

Mine all works!!! I did notice that the compatability check box is gone! I had to run mine in XP mods before and now it's gone! Hope I'm still in XP cause I have vista! I do have shapes though!

I did the update. Its running just fine.

I have my shapes box still.

I can see the "save last mat size" and such.

But I still have rows and rows of boxes in the font box that just have the same old rectangle in them. Maybe thats not what was being removed??

Where do we save the new update????

In other words, when I click on save it asks me where do I want to save it. I am
not sure what to put.

I just click "run"...I don't save it...

If it insists on asking 'where' save it to your desktop then when the download is complete go to your desktop, click on the file and it will install.

Since I have been dabbling in creating fonts, I think I can answer this... although you really didn't ask a question. When you are making fonts (other software not related to SCAL or Cricut), there is an option that defaults to a blank square for empty spots. I'd imagine why you still see some blank spots is because the font creator left this option in. Just thought I'd throw that out... but I'd imagine that is why only some fixed and others did not.
