How do you add a border to a card in Inkscape?

Post by AuntBeepBeep »

I thought I knew how, but when I import it into SCAL, my border shows in the MIDDLE of my card and not on the edge. Any help would be great. I've searched Dan99 and SBR, but didn't see what I was looking for.

Best guess is that you used Object/Group or imported the border into the card file. Open the file in Ink, use Control A. Does the message bar at the bottom of the Inkscape window list "group"? If it does, either right click and ungroup, or from the menu, Object/Ungroup until no more groups are listed. Select both the card and the border, and from the menu, Path/Union. HTH
