I just found a bug

I have been using Scal 2 since yesterday. Today was the 1st time I had to cut an object 4.5 x6.5 , what I found was when I previewed it it did not show anything that went over the 6" mark, it was a rectangle going horizontal(portrait). If I turned it to go vertical instead it showed. I did have my mat set at 12x12 as that is what I was using. I hope I am explaining this right. Anyone else run into this or have a solution for me?Thanks

I had the same problem last night - I tried to cut a 12" border and only the left half cut. When I checked back on preview, I noticed only the left half was showing. I had turned my mat so the arrow was viewed on top, but I didn't think of that at the time. I was cutting a design I made in SCAL 1, so I thought maybe that was it and I redesigned it in SCAL 2. It worked on the redesign, no problems in preview or cutting, even with the mat turned to view arrow on top??? Hope that makes sense. I also had problems when rearranging designs on the mat, It would get hung up and want to close. I am using Vista and with Scal 1 I had to go to properties and had to select windows service pack 2 and hit apply. Since I did the same thing with Scal 2, no problems.

When I played with it this morning I noticed something similar, I had a 12x12 screen open but when I previewed it showed that only the top 6 inches would cut, I selected 12x12 from the drop down menu again and it fixed it in the preview.

I'm sure where this is so new there will be some bugs for awhile. I only have the trial right now, since I only saw it this morning but hope to upgrade soon, it has everything that I've wanted (besides the bugs

From what I have heard from friends, it will only cut the 6x12 mat size even if it shows, the 12x12 mat.

Yes that is one of the bugs Todd has been working on this weekend said there should be an update today or tomorrow!
