Sharing my cards... from a newbie

Post by iamtutu »

I have completed a few cards and one of them my 9 year old son was greatly involved with the creation from color combos, graphic, working the cricut.... we had so much fun! So the "You Rock" Father's Day card is our creation.

I also utilized this wonderful free download by SVGshop.com. I absolutely loved making this card! Thanks for this great promotion, I will be back to buy some of your beautiful work!

I also created a card from http://www.myscrapchick.com for the Dad word book. I can't wait to purchase some of the items on this site. So easy to use, even for a newbie. I created a card using those puffy dots so the letters are not flat. Actually, all of the cards posted on the post has those super cool puffy foam adhesives. I love dimension and I love things that break out of boarders.

Anyway, this has been so much fun! My son is really excited to hear what you all think of his You Rock creation!

I love these! Is great that you got your DS involved, too. The 2 of you might enjoy looking at the video my 13 yo dd made for more great parent/child summer projects.

Thank you for the wonderful comments! My son is as proud as a peacock! He is just thrilled!

Firstcut - I watched that video a couple of weeks ago and I can't WAIT to create a shirt with him! I am glad you mentioned it because that would would make awesome Father's Day gifts! Maybe make a shirt that matches each card!

Everybody is going to watch "Get Smart" tonight but I think I am going to take that time to work on some more projects and watch the video again!
