Cricut Expression 2.31

Has anyone got this version to work with SCAL??? I have read in various places that this version prevents SCAL from working. I have tried downloading a different version with the trial Design Studio, but it doesn't give you the option and just keeps putting 2.31 back into my cricut.

I have also used older versions of DS to hopefully install either version 2.1 or 2.3.....and every time I update my firmware, it comes back as version 2.31. Getting very frustrated. I really want to be able to use this software. Without it, I really don't think the cricut expression is worth a whole lot!

Is there anyone out there who has 2.31 that has been succesful with SCAL?

So, have you tried cutting with 2.31? I don't know what version I have, but I did the last update in December and everything is working fine. When you go to cut and it asks what Version just select 2.3 (I highly doubt it will cause a prob).

Yeah... I've done that but it doesn't work. It cuts 2 lines, then the graphic, and than after about the first 5 seconds, it stops....turns itself off and then back on, and my screen says the cutting was cancelled.

Very Frustrating!

k, the 2 lines (that it cuts), are these lines part of the image? Or are they huge then it goes to cut the image?
