Hi all! I have never posted on the forum before, so if I'm doing something wrong please let me know. I was excited to share what I did with SCAL and Inkscape. My DS loves to support his sissy at softball games so I made him a shirt to match her uniform. There are 2 pics. Please let me know what you think

Tonya,
That looks great! Is that heat transfer vinyl?
I can still remember decades ago when my dad got me a baseball cap to match my brother's team cap. I know your DS will be thrilled.

Thank you firstcut! No it is actually fabric paint. I made a stencil out of vinyl or contact paper(I have had better luck with these than freezer paper cuz of all the little pieces) and then I took a sponge brush and brushed on some fabric paint.

Wow, that is a very ambitious project for painting. I have done lots of shirts using stencils, heat transfer vinyl and inkjet transfers. I'd recommend you try heat transfer vinyl when the other team moms want these shirts for their little ones. Much more expensive but much easier... so perfect when someone else is paying

Re: My 1st shirt!
Thank you firstcut, I will be sure and keep that in mind for later, Im hoping they do ask me, lol! I may be asking how to questions if they do ask, anything that would make it easier I am up for. It really wasnt that bad, just weeding lots of little pieces, but thats ok it was cheaper than buying the heat tsf vinyl right now. Thank you for giving me ideas.
