Welding

I wish the welding feature would move the items you want to weld together. In DS, you click on a word, click weld, and the letters move together and weld. You still have the ability to individually move letters if you don't like the automatic placement, but at least most of the work is done for you. I just did a lot of words and it took forever to weld.

I totally agree. I just spent probably 2.5 hours welding together about 12 words. It didn't help that I had to hit the preview cut several times which makes SCAL crash. I had not saved for a while and had to almost start from scratch. I must say I was glad I was home alone because the fit I through would have scared anyone around me. I would also like the multiple mat (like the tab feature with internet explorer or mozilla). Another thing that would be great is a way to move my dingbats to the shapes tab. It takes forever to run through all my fonts to find anything.
