HELP SCAL NOT WORKING ON EXPRESSION

Ok, I have restored the default settings and said ok. I then click the scissors and it give me the firmware warning, I say ok and it still freezes. And, when I go out and back into SCAl it does not save my restored settings.

I AM BACK IN BUSINESS! Thank you for all of your help!!!!! My family thanks you as well because they were getting nothing out of me because of this. It turns out that I needed to download the latest SCAL version and that is why I was not getting the options that you mentioned. Again, thank you sooooooo much!
