SCAL and your blogs?

Here in Australia, we call them Grey Nomads who come up to Queensland with their caravans and motorhomes to escape the colder states down south.

"Snowbirds" are retirees from the north (mainly Canada) who travel to the warmer places during the cold winter months!

I bet if you "look around" you'll find a lot more snowbirds than you think are there! New Zealand looks so beautiful it's definitely on my "wish" list of places to visit!

I guess thinking about it, yes we have lots of "snowbirds" here as people from other countries come here during their winter which is usually our summer, or come in their summer to get more of the snow season when it is our winter. We just get used to call them visitors or tourists
