Hi. I just purchased a cricut and want to know more about scal before I buy it. How does it work and do I need any cables or anything to hook it to the computer. Any more helpful info would be great.
Also if I just purchase the download how long does it take to get?

You'll need a standard USB printer cable. I purchased the software from CandaCraft.com at around 10pm and received the serial number to register it at 10:50pm.
Download and use it as a demo for a few days. The only cost would be the printer cable (around $10.00 unless you already have a printer cable) and you'll be able to see if it's right for you.
