Saving $ for wall art

I cut out the cattails with vinyl using floral 2 font and cut the letters out of wallpaper scraps which you can get for free from you local hardware or paint store. You have to use border paste so it's a bit more work but every little bit helps.

I have also gone to the sign shops and asked for their vinyl scraps. They usually give them to me for FREE! They are usually limited on their colors...but free is a great price! I'm not sure if anyone else will do this...but it's worth a shot!

This is really beautiful no matter what it cost :)

Did you use picture mat board for the background?

not sure what you mean by picture mat board but I put it right on the wall if that's what you mean

No, it's a blank wall that goes down the basement stairs. It's actually 3' x 5' . It took a bit of piecing together. Whew!! :roll:
