Is there an easier way

Post by Phlpsfamily01 »

Ok I am making some word titles for a baby book 1 month...2 months and so on. I am typing and welding these right in SCAL and it's taking me forever since I can't select all and copy and paste. I am typing one by one. Is there an easier way to do this? Also i use Adobe Illustrator and not inkscape.

jsut thought I would ask before I go any further!

TIA

If you type everything into SCAL in one box you can copy and paste the whole thing. You can still move and rotate individual letters this way.

You can use Illustrator and then save in svg format. Sometimes I use Inkscape or Illustrator just to get an idea of the sizes I need and then create the file in SCAL. Just depends how complicated things are. The other advantage to doing your work in Illustrator or Inkscape is that since the fonts are converted to outlines, you don't have to worry about having the font installed when you go back to that file in the future.
