Cricut Expression leaving uncut gaps

I upgraded my PC to Windows 10, 32 bit. Re-installed SCAL5 and libcutter. Same problem, still leaving parts of rectangle uncut. The design cannot get any more basic than inserting one of SCAL's own shapes. Don't know what else to try.

Hey, finally happy to find others with the same issue as me, I don't remember this happening when I first got SCAL setup, but as long as I can remember I've had these un-cut portions of straight lines.

Has anyone discovered a solution?
