you crack me up! There are tons of tutorials around, some are written with pictures others are videos. Do you know what you want to do first?

If I can do it I figure anyone can do it, I found that with the few tutorials I watched and just playing with other peoples files it became easy faster than I thought it would. Just be willing to ask lots of questions too, eventually you will be the one answering another newbies questions and finding that you feel good about what you have learned.

I love Dan's videos, but be careful with the color tracing. If there are black lines, it traces those last and they are too delicate for cutting. A better one for separating an image would be this one. http://susanbluerobot.blogspot.com/2008 ... inish.html

I just had my husband put do this video tutorial. It's designed for very basic beginners trying to use inkscape inorder to get SCAL to reconize the file.

Let me know if this video helps anyone, hopefully I can get him to do more if people end up liking it. The video is in HD so it should be easy to view if you have that high connection speed.
