So last week I posted a new link to a cool SVG site, now they are having a contest that gives away cool SVG files. All you have to do is sign up to be notified when they release the new Free SVG of the Week and they will enter you into the raffle! Fun!
wow! i was willing to check out this site, until I saw the negative responses from the original poster. Is this your personal site? Is it a friends site? If not, you sure are passionate about this site. I am glad the majority of the posters here on CE don't attack someone for a misunderstanding as you have just done. I hope for the sake of your "friend" others don't feel the same way.
just my $.02.

Thank you for your responses. I felt attacked and honestly have felt wary to post like I would like due to how I perceived this post. I felt like I did years ago when I worked in an office with a bunch of women who were very dramatic. I admit I got my feelings hurt but I guess I need bigger shoulders.
For someone that is not miffed she sure did flame me! And I thought I apologized for any inference of any impropriety? Sorry again if I didn't say it well the first time.
sambobbit...
it wasn't you who should be apologizing. You were tactful, respectful, and handled the situation with dignity. It is the original poster who owes an apology, to YOU.

If there is any difference in the flower it would be a very little one. I don't have a dog in this fight but I don't think attacking people is the right thing to do. I appreicate everyone who shares their svg files for free.. I don't think Sam said or did anything wrong other than state the fact that it looks like the flower that he/she did. There is nothing wrong with that..
I apologize for the misunderstanding. I too know what you mean about feeling like working in a negative office. I've been there and its not fun, and its funny you mention that because what you originally wrote...
"sambobbitt wrote:Only problem is I just found one of my files on there she changed a smidge and is selling????? I didn't see it on there the other day when you first posted the site but it is on her etsy page now.....who would have guessed?"
simply (to me) sounded like you came up with an original design and this poor girl took it from you and made it her own and started selling it.
Unfortunatly, its not my site... I wish it was, and I wish I was friends with the girl who runs it because she has been nothing but sweet. I just recently purchased Sure Cuts A Lot and was desperate to find some help, after doing some searching I stumbled on her site and contacted her. I asked her a question about the software and she responded with a novel full of answers and tips. She is good people and I love the site and just wanted to share it.
When I read what sambobbitt wrote, to me it sounded like an attack on the artist. (It wasn't tactful or respectful) I'm sorry sambobbitt, I wasn't trying to offend you or attack you, I was simply trying to protect a person who had no idea that she is being talked about. I figured that what you said would detour people from going to her site. What you wrote was not pretty and made her sound like a thief. It clearly written above and may be taken differently depending on who reads it, but when I read it I see it as an attack.
Regardless, I don't care anymore, obviously you didn't mean any harm and nor do I. I'm sorry, lets just forget about this and enjoy the forum and the site!
Hey everybody! Gilly let me know about this thread on this forum, so I just wanted to state for the record that I created my Flower of Life SVG file and my Pine Tree Air Freshener SVG files both from scratch. (Girl scout honor!)
The Flower of Life is very special to me, being a big fan of Drunvalo Melchizedek and Bob Frissell. The pine tree air freshener is just cool! I saw someone wearing a t-shirt with a pine tree air freshener on it and thought it was funny. Then I made my SVG file based on one of those air fresheners.
I love creating SVG files, just like the rest of you guys, and I'm so glad Craft Edge came out with the SCAL software that allows us so much more freedom with our Cricuts! Best wishes to everyone.

you do a great job- thanks for your freebies. Good luck with the store. It looks like you have been having fun making cards and they are really cute!
