Crazy Monster Card

Post by etrnlfire »

This is my first attempt using inkscape. The actual card is the full 12 inches high and 6 inches across, with the "monster" at 7 inches high. It isn't much of a surprise for my husband who helped me with the program, but it's the thought that counts. If anyone would like this file i would be happy to share it. It was made from a coloring page i found online. I would just need to know what is the most common size used so I can set up the scale.

That's a pretty awesome job for your "first" try. Inkscape isn't exactly what I would describe as a walk in the park! You should post it in with the other svg's. Thanks for sharing. :)

Thank you for your replies. I will post it with instructions. That one had alot of little parts. And i guess that one would be the second one. The first one I did had all individual teeth so I simplified it and like I said I had help from my husband who knows how to use paths in photoshop and he helped me thru it. He understands programs much better than me. I also made a smaller version for a smaller card. I just need to know how big to make it. I find out the scaling of the teeth/eyes and tongue/mouth in photoshop after i see how big i make the body. I will be glad to post it with instructions.
