Hooray!!! yeah for you!! It worked beautifully. The directions were clear cut, and I now have all my fonts in 1 lovely folder, and have access to everything, including my SilhousOldFAshion...Yeah yeah yeah....oh thank you thank you thank you!! Laura
I just purchased SCAL today. I have a mac (which has font book). I read the attached file on organizing fonts and then running them into SCAL in an organized fashion. Does anyone know how to do this on a Mac???
morning,
I read the sheets that I printed out with all the directions. I think that you should have no difficulty with the Mac. At least that is what is says in the directions..Good luck. It worked for me like a charm. I couldn't be happier!
I tried to use the link that Tingha Treasures mentioned for managing fonts but when I went to copy them into another file from windows fonts, it would allow me to do 1 at a time but not the entire quantity (245 of them). Don't know what I need to do. Any suggestions?
Hi I hope I can help...after I made the folder on my desktop totled "fonts" I minimized the screen to make it a little smaller. I then opened my fonts folder located in "C" I went and hit Ctrl with the letter A, this will select all of the fonts in that folder I then dragged them into my "fonts"folder on the desktop they made a copy of themselves inside this folder....let me know if this worked for you..Laura
I made the "fonts" folder as a shortcut. I then went to the C: drive, windows, fonts and did Ctrl A and tried to drag them to the "fonts" folder and I got a message "cannot place in fonts". My laptop is running Vista, would this make a difference?

I created the fonts folder on my desktop, but system will not allow me to copy/paste fonts into folder and when I tried dragging them over I got the same message stating "cannot place in fonts". I have repeatedly created and deleted the fonts folder trying to see if I had done something wrong, but no luck. I am running Vista 32 bit sp1
ok, did you make a new folder titled fonts, or merely just make a shortcut? You need a brand new folder, maybe title it differently then fonts...perhaps call it test, then go to your font folder in "C" do the Ctrl A and then Ctrl V to the new folder....try this it should work for you
