HELP! SCAL5 crashes every. single. time. I click "cutter."

Aaaah please help! My SCAL 5 is crashing every time I click "cutter"...so my machine is now completely useless. Any ideas? I'm using a Silver Bullet Professional, running SCAL5 on my Mac with OS 10.15.1. My software says that it is all up to date. Thank you!!

The Check for Updates has always been broken so you can't go by that. Also, what is stated as the latest version on the following site is also typically out of date. You need to just download and install the latest every few months just to make sure. Here you go:

I am experiencing a similar issue, and I am very frustrated.
I have a Silver Bullet Platinum, I run a Mac os 10.15.4, and the latest versiono of SCAL 5 (10.030). I just updated both OS and Scal version because I had the very same issue before and the assistence at Silver Bullet suggested to do so.

I have to say that the assistence at Craftedge has been almost nonexistent, the only thing I got last October was a mail with a code for using Scal4. That because I noticed that that worked better thant the newer version. Now, on the new OS, Scal4 is not working anymore, Scal5 cracks, and I got no answers from Brandon, owner of the company, and the one in charge to answer to software issues. He never answers to my many emails, and that's very, very disappointing! Unfortunately there is no alternative software, otherwise, I would choose immediately the other one. I think the company is not serious, the software good for amatours, the assistence awful.

My issue, now, hoping that someone can help me, saving me from my clients that are starting to watch elsewhere to see their work done...
I need to use the print and cut to make a few contour cutting. Every single time I push on the designeted button in the cutter window the software cracks without further information. It just closes without any report. I tried to uninstall the software and reinstall, I updated everything was possible to update. Nothing worked, and the assistence in not assisting.

I hope someone here can help.

I've not seen this reported on Facebook which is where a LOT of SCAL owners can be found. I assume you're actually running SCAL 5.030? There is no 10.030. Thus, updating isn't going to solve the issue.

Maybe try posting at the Silver Bullet forum because there you will find both SB users AND SCAL5 users plus support:

Also, if you purchased your SB from Sherri, I would be all over her to contact SCAL on your behalf. It seems she would have a vested interest in making sure customers are successful since the Silver Bullets are her business.
