I took the item to Inkscape for an electric drill. I wanted it of course in black and silver, but since the silver paper is about 4 times the cost of the black, I want them to cut the whole drill in black so I only have to cut a small piece for the drill bit. Unfortunately it cut the whole drill in silver and then the black to cover the base. How do I get it to cut the whole thing in black with just the bit in silver. I hope I have explained this well enough, if anyone can help, I would so appreciate it. I'm tired of using $3.00 a sheet silver paper only to have to cover most of it up. I've attached the way it cut's it and also the original photo before taking it to Inkscape. HELP me please!!!!
Pat

Re: I hope someone can HELP me with this problem with Inksca
Hi Pat,
This forum is almost exclusively for owners of Sure Cuts A Lot, so you won't find a lot of help for Inkscape here, especially with this forum not being very active due to Facebook groups becoming so much more popular than forums these days.
I recommend going to the main Inkscape forum and posting your same question. If I knew Inkscape's tracing functions, I'd gladly help you, but I've only used it for a few other functions. Anyhow, here's the link to that forum:

Good luck!
