SCAL2 patch for cutting error on OSX 10.9, 10.10, 10.11

I am using Yosemite too, and the patch worked first time with no problems with anything else (e.g. printer) so I don't have to remove the patch.

Thank you for providing the information for this patch. It solved my problem and the SCAL2 cutting works fine with my Yosemite. The only thing I have found is that I have to install/run the patch again if have restarted my computer. Not a big deal, and it only takes a few seconds.

Help please - I (stupidly) updated my MacBook Pro and can't use my Scal2. previous patch not working. i'm brand new to this board and have no idea how to click on, or respond to other's posts. is there a link to a new patch? thanks in advance.

I downloaded the patch but when I try to run it, I get the following error:

The command exited with a non-zero status.
Finder got an error: The command exited with a non-zero status. (3)

I really, really regret updating to El Capitan! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
