In the latest updates for SCAL4 and eCAL2, there has been a Scan2Cut option added.
This is similar to a Print+Cut, but is a process to allow you to cut pre-printed/drawn/stamped shapes.
This is designed to work with cutting machines that have a laser for doing the manual Print+Cut.
Here is an overview, thanks to Sandra

Re: Scan2Cut
Hi All,
Do I need to calibrate my laser for each time I do a print and cut? I just tried this feature and it worked fantastic. I mostly cut tag shapes over a printed image. This works better than my Brother SnC. So happy you have added the Zing driver to the software.

Re: Scan2Cut
Can anyone tell me what a "SCUT" file is? thanks
Re: Scan2Cut
SCUT is the original file format for Sure Cuts a Lot. In other words, you can use File>Open to open any scut file.
