Scut3 files open in scut 2

Hi I have been using scut 3 for a while. Most of my scut2 files I just rename to 3 and they open fine. However I am having to use my backup machine today which is a cricut and need to use scut2. I cannot get my scut 3 files to open in 2. Even if I rename name them to scut 2. Is there anyway to open the 3 files in 2?

Open your file in SCAL 3 and under the file tab, you have the option of sending the file to versions 2.

Thank you for answering. That does not work. I thought it was that easy but when I do that nothing happens.

It also won't let me cut from 3 and past in 2. Was hoping that would work.

How do you quick open files like in Brackets editor or Sublime Text using HTMLPad?
