Question about activation

Hi everyone, my windows 7 hard drive crashed and I had to get a new computer. The new computer runs on windows 8.1 I did down load and activate surecuts alot and had to remove it. When I went to reinstall it does down load but it is saying I have the wrong activation code, I know my code is correct. Any help would be appreciated

It could be if you activated more than 2 times, it is not letting you activate it again. If you have your serial number, go to this page
http://www.craftedge.com/support/support.html and request support from customer service. If you do not know your serial number and purchased from CraftEdge, use the "serial number retrieval" choice.

Obviously, if your hard drive crashed you can't do it, but any time you are either getting rid of a computer or un-installing you should de-activate SCAL so that you don't run out of activations. Current versions have this in the Help menu. It can be done for older versions too, but they have different steps.
