Node Editing

I'd like the "node editing" choices moved up in the hierarchy of things to chose.to make it faster and easier to edit shapes from the shapes library.

Now you have to select the node and right click to get to the first drop down menu (a shortcut would do)

To solve this challenge for me I would be happy if I could assign a "hot key" to jump me directly to a buried function. I would be extremely happy if I could add an icon that via a single click would jump me directly to the desired function. "Simple" things are all I need to be happy.
