it does depend on what you want to do with it.

There have been quite a few new cutters enter the market and they all have their great features. The forum has a category for cutter review and that would be a good place to start reading. Here is the link:

Think about how you want to use your cutter....for scrapbooking, card making, vinyl cutting...and consider how much you want to pay.
There was a comparison chart that someone developed at one time and I can't quite put my finger on it, so maybe someone else can find the link to it. Not sure how current it is.
