Text in a circle

I do not have inkscape but know thiat i should be able to put text in to a circle but cannot figure it out... Computer dummy is what i am and not familiar with path, and other terms.. Can someone just give me instuctions on how to do this or where I can go to find out???? I have scal 3 and a silhouette.. and want to make a shirt for my grandsons... I am trying to put a name across the top of the circle and also a name on the bottom of the circle but not upside down and a picture in the center... Someone please hellp.... If you can give me insturction or tell me when to find this I would really appreciate it... Thank you..

This should get you started...watch a few times and play along and you will get it. This is where I learn.
